Insights from Citizen Request and Government Response Data in Kosovo
Keshif built a data platform to geospatially visualize, analyze, and measure government response to thousands of citizen service requests, submitted in the Fix My Community platform, which informs local governments of public infrastructure and service issues.

Impact
Scores of volunteers and citizens submit reports on garbage dumps, broken streetlights, and potholes to local governments on a daily basis. Using our platform, civil society organizations are able to understand and analyze citizen demands for improved public services via crowdsourcing, help local governments to more effectively respond to citizen needs, measure their response time and effectiveness in addressing citizen requests, and also hold them accountable.
